Ripe mango, pineapple, white grape, and rose petal define this vibrant, high-elevation Gesha with a silky, refined body.
Produced by Milton Monroy at his renowned San Cayetano farm in San Juan de la China, this coffee reflects years of precision and innovation. After starting with traditional varieties, Milton shifted his focus to Gesha, now planted across 25% of his farm and has since become a consistent finalist in the Cup of Excellence in Colombia.
For this microlot, cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and undergo ~80–84 hours of anaerobic fermentation in small 60 kg tanks, with regular movement for consistency. After draining, the coffee is lightly dried mechanically to remove initial moisture and avoid over-fermentation.
Drying continues slowly on raised beds for 24–32 days at controlled temperatures, followed by a short rest period and final stabilization in a small silo for precise moisture control. The coffee then rests for 45 days in GrainPro before milling.
The result is a strikingly clean yet expressive profile tropical, floral, and layered. Named “Gesha Clouds,” this lot captures the elevated, almost weightless character that defines truly exceptional coffee.
